Privacy Policy

GarageBru is a vehicle logbook and fuel tracking app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Garage data you enter: vehicles, fuel entries, service tasks, trip logs (if enabled), and related metadata.
• Photos (optional): receipt and odometer photos you capture or select. These are stored locally on your device and may be synced if you enable Pro cloud sync.
• Location (optional): if you enable fuel stop reminders or nearby-station features, we use your location. You can choose the location storage level in the app (exact / approximate / none).
• Analytics (optional): anonymous usage analytics may be collected only if you opt in in the app.
• Crash reports (optional): crash diagnostics may be collected only if you opt in in the app to help improve stability.

How we use information

• To provide the app's core features (logging, summaries, dashboards, exports).
• To sync your data across devices if you sign in and enable cloud sync.
• To send optional notifications you explicitly enable (e.g., service reminders, fuel stop prompts).
• To debug crashes and improve reliability and performance.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may use service providers to operate the app (for example, authentication, cloud storage/sync, and optional diagnostics/analytics). Those providers process data on our behalf.

Your choices

• You can use GarageBru in local-only mode.
• You can control notification types in Settings → Notifications.
• You can control location privacy in Settings (including choosing "none").
• You can opt in/out of analytics and crash reporting in Settings → Privacy.
• You can export your data from the app.
• You can delete your account and app data using the in-app deletion option.
